The Florida, our most compact Procona model, is an excellent choice for supermarkets and flower shops. Thanks to their "Retail Ready" feature, the flowers can be sold directly from the Procona, without the need for extra steps such as repackaging or trimming stems. What’s more, the flowers look stunning when displayed in one of our convenient displays. Practical and attractive!
The Florida is also used for export, particularly for smaller quantities and markets. The Florida 18 was specially developed for short-stemmed flowers such as daffodils, short-stemmed roses, anemones, and hyacinths.

How does it work?
The Procona System
Procona is a packaging and transport system that keeps flowers fresh from grower to consumer. The system consists of the following components:
1.
A Procona flower bucket (for single or multiple use) in which the flowers are placed in water
2.
A protective collar, available in various heights, made of cardboard (single-use) or plastic (reusable)
3.
A lid with ventilation holes (disposable or reusable) onto which Proconas can be stacked

Procona collars and covers
The collars are an important part of the stackable Procona system. The collars are available in multiple heights, ensuring the perfect fit for every stem length. You can choose between recyclable cardboard or plastic collars.
The single-use cardboard collars are FSC-certified, which contributes to forest conservation and a healthy environment. For heavier-duty applications (and for fully reusable packaging), we offer our strong polypropylene PP5 plastic collars, which can be reused up to 40–50 times and come standard in transparent white. Other colors are available upon request.
All Procona collars are printed as standard with the Procona name and height, as well as the recycling symbol. For a personalized look, we also offer custom printing, available starting from a minimum quantity. This way, the collar can also serve as a display.

Once the Procona is filled with flowers, the lid is placed on the top edge of the collar, which fits into the rim of the container. The container, collar, and lid are then securely fastened with a strap, allowing the entire package to be lifted.
Thanks to ventilation openings in the lid, fresh air flows into the Procona, while the moist, warm air from the flowers escapes. This ensures that even Proconas in the middle of a full pallet are well ventilated, and the contents remain visible for inspection without the need to unpack them. The stacking tabs on the lid ensure that a Procona placed on top slides easily into place and remains stable.

Our reusable divider is a handy tool for ensuring that all bouquets in your Procona stay upright, right down to the very last one. It’s easy to attach to the rim and works with all Procona models. This divider offers an efficient and simple solution for a neat and tidy display of your flowers.
Top Frame
The top frame raises the Procona by 15–25 cm, making it perfect for transporting and displaying flowers with longer stems. They are available for both Florida and Valencia/Amsterdam Proconas, giving you the flexibility to customize your display. The top frame offers a practical solution that helps ensure an effective and attractive presentation of your flowers.
Graduation cap
Enhance the presentation of your flowers by adding a personalized promotional collar to the London Procona. With custom text, a logo, or an image on this display collar, you’ll give your sales an extra boost.
Sponge
For air freight that does not allow for free water, Procona sponges offer a solution. These sponges ensure that your flowers remain hydrated for 1 to 2 days during (refrigerated) transport, so they arrive in optimal condition.
Hanging frames
Hanging frames are available for Procona Florida, Valencia, and Amsterdam Danish carts. These hanging frames make transporting, storing in the cold storage room, and displaying your flowers much easier and more efficient.
