We are Pagter

For over 30 years, we have been developing and manufacturing sustainable and innovative packaging systems for cut flowers in water. At Pagter, quality, sustainability, and reliability are our top priorities. It’s in our DNA. But we do things differently. Not because we have to, but because we are different.

Long before everyone started “doing something” about sustainability, we introduced reusable packaging systems for cut flowers in water. While others struggle to deliver, we guarantee that we can. And where other products must be thrown away after a single use, we believe in a reusable product. As a global partner, we like to focus on what is possible. Different, in other words.

Qualitatively different. Reliably different. Meaningfully different.

Our History

1992
Jan de Pagter noticed that cut flowers lose much of their quality during their journey from producer to consumer. In his garage in Dinteloord, he came up with a better solution. To preserve the quality and freshness of cut flowers, he launched the Procona (from Producerto Consumerin Aqua), a reusable flower bucket. The first models were the Procona Amsterdam and the Procona Valencia. In the years that followed, Jan de Pagter, together with his wife Lia and daughter Corina, turned Procona into a global success.
