We are Pagter

We have been developing and producing sustainable and innovative packaging systems for cut flowers in water for over 30 years. At Pagter, quality, sustainability and reliability are of paramount importance. It’s in our DNA. But we do it differently. Not because it has to be different, but because we are different.

Long before everyone started “doing something” with sustainability, we introduced reusable packaging systems for cut flowers in water. While others struggle to deliver, we guarantee we can. And where other products have to be thrown away after one use, we believe in a reusable product. As a global partner, we like to focus on what is possible. So different.

Qualitatively different. Reliably different. Meaningfully different.

Our History

1992
Jan de Pagter sees that cut flowers lose much of their quality during their journey from producer to consumer. In his garage in Dinteloord, he comes up with a better solution. To maintain the quality and freshness of cut flowers, he launched the Procona (from Producerto Consumerin Aqua), a reusable flower bucket. The first models are the Procona Amsterdam and the Procona Valencia. In the years that followed, Jan de Pagter, together with his wife Lia and daughter Corina, made Procona a worldwide success.
