The Valencia, the largest container in the Procona range (dimensions 30 x 40 cm), is ideally suited for use by growers, exporters/importers and wholesalers: Flowers are presented perfectly, can be sold straight from the container without re-packaging or trimming the stems, maximum stem length.

  Valencia containers will take loads of up to 80 kg (at approx. 5° Celsius, for 3 - 6 days) and fit on pallets measuring 100 x 120 cm, 80 x 120 cm and 60 x 80 cm and on (Danish) trolleys. Valencia containers are available in two heights to suit flowers with different stem lengths. They can be used in combination with the Valencia top frame to add 25 cm to the height of the container.

  Like all Procona packaging the Valencia containers have matching straight collars available in a range of heights and in both cardboard and plastic. The collars are so strong that Valencia containers full of flowers can be stacked up to a height of 240 cm, even when in chilled transport for a long time. Valencia containers and lids are suitable for both single and repeated use.

  Valencia 25 with closed hand grips

  Valencia containers with closed hand grips and ventilation grills were developed for exporting cut flowers from the Netherlands to Japan. The stringent import stipulations specified by the Japanese Plant Protection Service in the Netherlands demand that after being checked products must be transported in sealed packaging. Which is why the hand grips are closed.

  The additional insulation provided by closed containers make them a very practical solution in regions where heavy frosts are probable. The top-frame cannot be used with closed containers.

  Customizing your Valencia containers

  The rims and sides of Valencia containers can be printed in a single color with your logo, company name or a unique barcode, qr-code or matrix code for traceability.
  The collars and lids can also be personalized.

   

  Valencia containers are available as standard in white or black but if you wish a different color, or have any other special requirements, talk to us. We have considerable experience with customizing Procona containers and other system components.
