Procona is a strong, robust packaging system for cut flowers. The system comprises a container (1) with a rim (1a), a collar (2) which fits in the rim of the container, and a lid (3) which makes the packaging stackable.

The Procona system is constructed to ensure an optimal climate in the packaging unit in order to condition the product. Cold air flows in (past the flowers) through the hand grips in the container and the openings in the lid. The flow of cold air is ensured, even in the middle of a pallet stacked with Proconas.

Range of Procona Containers

There are three sizes of the Procona system:

• Containers measuring 24 x 30 cm (Florida);
• Containers measuring 30 x 33 cm (London);
• Containers measuring 30 x 40 cm (Amsterdam & Valencia);

These are the largest exterior dimensions. For each size there are various container heights. There is a collar for every stem length – so you get a good load factor in the packaging unit.
