With its exterior sizes of 30x40 cm, the Amsterdam, just like the Valencia, is the largest container in the Procona packaging range. Amsterdam containers are available in two heights: 25 cm and 35 cm.

Amsterdam containers are ideal for the transport of cut flowers throughout the chain. The flowers are excellently presented in the wholesale market, in cash & carry outlets, or in shops. They can be sold straight from the container without repackaging. This saves a lot of work. And there’s no need to trim off the stems, as they have been in water during the entire chain.

The Amsterdam-containers fit on pallets of 100 x 120 cm, 80 x 120 cm, 60 x 80 cm and on (Danish) trolleys. Amsterdam containers and lids are made for intensive, multiple use. The carrying capacity of the Amsterdam containers is 125 kg. The Amsterdam container’s impact resistance is extremely high. This makes the Amsterdam containers the strongest Procona container. Amsterdam containers are available in the standard colours white and green.

As with all Procona packaging the Valencia containers feature a customised collar. This collar is strong enough for Valencia containers with flowers to be stacked up to 240 cm in height – also for extended chilled transportation.

In terms of external sizes, the Amsterdam is identical to the Valencia container. We recommend the Amsterdam for multiple, intensive or heavy use. Because of its thicker walls, the Amsterdam has, among other things, higher impact resistance and carrying capacity.
 
Collars and lids for the Amsterdam are identical to the collars and lids used for the Valencia. The Valencia topframe can also be used on Amsterdam containers.
 
Amsterdam containers are suited for very heavy transport at nursery operations or for intensive use in a pool system.
