Thanks to the London lid the Procona packaging is stackable. The lid is placed on the upper rim of the collar, after the container is filled with flowers. Next, the Procona packaging is closed with strapping band. The lid is made so that the entire packaging can be lifted up by the strapping band.

The stacking notches on the lid enable the next London container to be stacked.

The upper side of the London lid is totally flat. This makes it much easier to stack the next container with flowers. The underside of the container slides over the surface into the staking notches.

The notches are raised to ensure an adequate flow of air. And the lid has ample ventilation openings. Thanks to the open lid and the ample slits when stacked, cool air is able to flow in the packaging and damp (warm) air (exhaled by the flowers) can flow out of the packaging. Even the Procona container right at the centre of a pallet has adequate ventilation.
