| Miami lid |
|
The lid has four cylinder-shaped bulges. The next packaging is put on these bulges preventing the packaging from sliding. The lid is connected to the other parts by means of a tie-strap which is tied around the middle of the packaging.
Ventilation The lid of the Miami packaging has ventilation openings on all sides and the upper surface. Even when stacked the sides of the lid stay open, allowing humid air to exit and cold air to enter.
Good ventilation reduces the chances of Botrytis and ensures a lower temperature in the packaging unit. Thus better preservation of the quality of the flowers.
