The Miami system was developed especially for clients who prefer transporting their flowers in round buckets, but at the same time want to benefit from the advantages of the Procona system. Miami comprises a base, a collar, a lid and a round bucket. The Miami packaging can be used with 5, 8 and 10 litre buckets.

Miami packaging is available in two versions: Miami Standard and Miami Mini. Miami Standard fits perfectly on ISO pallets. Miami Mini was developed for optimum loading on euro-pallets.

Miami transport costs
When packaging in buckets-in-boxes space has to be left around the flowers so the buckets can be lifted in and out of the boxes. Because the Miami collar is folded around the flowers every bit of space in the packaging can be used for flowers.

Packaging tests with a range of flower types have also proven that Miami packaging has a far better pallet loading efficiency than buckets-in-boxes. This improved use of packaging space and greater pallet loading capability adds up to substantial savings in transport costs per stem.
