It’s important that all stems in the Gerona packaging stand in water. This means that the water level in the bags must be up to the top line when the gerberas are in the packaging. It’s also important to take account of minimum and maximum stem lengths for each interior.
Minimum stem length
The minimum stem length applies to the uppermost flower in the interior. This must be at least long enough to stand in the water.
Maximum stem length
In the case of the lowest flower in the interior you must take account of the bottom of the bag. The lowest flower must just NOT touch the bottom of the bag – and for this reason there is a maximum length. All flowers that hang higher can be longer.
