The Florida 35 is a Procona container developed for transportation of cut flowers across the entire logistical chain and for retail sales. The Florida 35 container is ideal for bouquets and bunches up to 28"-30" in length, with the container used as a sales unit. The maximum suitable length can be increased to 38"-42" by using the Florida topframe. A high pallet load can be achieved with flowers of 22"-26" with the Florida 35.

The Florida 35 is stackable and fits on several types of pallet and auction trolleys, like all other Procona containers.

Florida 35 with closed handles

The Florida 35 is also available with closed handles. These are better insulated than the open handle model, and can be a solution in heavy frost situations.

The Florida 35 with closed handles has been developed for export of cut flowers from the Netherlands to Japan. Tough import checks by the Japanese authorities in the Netherlands for plant disease/infection etc., mean that products checked in the Netherlands must be sealed for shipping. Hence, the handles on this model are closed.

The Florida topframe cannot be used on Florida 35 containers with closed handles.
