A lid is placed on top of the collar, making the package easy to stack. The lid has plenty of ventilation holes on top. There are also ventilation holes in the sides of the lid. The fact that the current of air con also flow horizontally through the pallet also ensures sufficient ventilation for stacked packaging units.
The lid is fitted with 4 rings. The hooks from the Gerona interior are caught in these, so they are fixed underneath the plateau as well as on top of the lid.
Obviously, the Gerona gerbera packaging can be used without the collar and lid. If u sed in this manner the packaging unit will not be stackable and can only be used on trolleys with trays.
