Interior for Gerbera packaging
There are seven different interiors for the gerbera packaging. There are two different materials in the main line – cardboard and plastic. The (new) plastic interiors are outlined below. For more information on the cardboard interiors, click the link below.

Gerona interior
The new Gerona interiors are eye-catchers – thanks to their slender shape. Also new are the slots in the Gerona interior. No more searching for the right hole in the interior. You simply stick the flower sideways into the interior. Easy and fast! The Gerona interior has a cup on which every gerbera flower head can rest. This way, the new interior supports the gerbera perfectly – because the interior is made of plastic. And for extra protection of the gerbera heads, all the rims have been rounded off.
There is a hook at the top of the Gerona interior. This allows two Gerona interiors to be made into a pair. And, the interior can also be suspended on the hook.
Unpacking the gerberas from the Gerona interiors is simple. This is because the gerberas hang in slots and not in closed holes. One simple hand movement unpacks all the gerberas – with no damage.
Gerona pairThe stems of the gerberas in the Gerona interior are supported by the cavity under the cups. Two Gerona interiors filled with gerberas can be linked up with press-studs, and connected up so that the stems are covered in the interior. The gerbera heads poke out at four sides of the Gerona-pair, safely supported in the specially shaped cups. The Gerona interior comes in two sizes: · Gerona 10 (10 stems per interior, 80 stems per packaging unit)· Gerona 12 (12 stems per interior, 96 stems per packaging unit) To summarize, the plus-points of the Gerona interior are: · Fast insertion (hanging).· Perfect protection of the flower head in the cup.· Perfect protection of the stem in the cavity underneath the cups.· Plastic interior (rigid and not soggy under humid conditions).· The interior can be filled during flower picking.· Unpacking Gerona interiors is fast, with no damage to the flowers.· Gerona interiors come in two variants: for 10 or for 12 stems.· Full Gerona interiors can be placed flat on a table without damaging the flowers.
